"Currently the disease kills 270,000 every year, but we can vaccinate against two strains of HPV, which together are responsible for 70% of all cervical cancer cases."
C.E.O GAVI - The Vaccine Alliance
Nigeria must as a matter of necessity introduce the HPV vaccine into its routine immunisation programme. Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in the country.

In 2009, Abisola stopped by her hospital and had a routine Pap test done. That decision saved her life.⠀
Her test came back abnormal.⠀
Further testing showed that she had cervical cancer.⠀
Today, she is cancer free and strongly advocates that women should get their cervical screening tests done.
January is #CervicalCancerAwarenessMonth Ladies, schedule your Cervical screening test this month. #2019 #31DaysOfPink #ApplaudingTheSurvivors #BCAM #BeBoldForChange #BreastCancerAw
To commemorate this year's Giving Tuesday, we collaborated with Hubmart a leading retail brand in Nigeria to have an in-store awareness event. This was as part of our #EveryMonthIsPink breast cancer campaign. Over a thousand people were educated on cancer through our information brochures and we were also able to raise funds to support the treatment of indigent women with breast cancer. Here are some photos from the event. #GivingTuesday #GivingTuesday #CancerAwareNigeria #Ca
