An integral part of our Breast Cancer Early Detection Programme is the community medical outreach. Through this, we are able to take free breast cancer screening to women in their local communities.
On Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 at the Ogudu Primary Health Centre, we had a free breast screening outreach for women of the Ogudu and Ojota community.
The screening exercise was preceded by a market sensitization drive on Tuesday, 5th of December 2017.
172 women were screened and over 1000 persons were educated about cancer over a 2 day period.
Beneficiaries received wellness checks, clinical breast exams and women aged 40 and above were given free mammogram vouchers.
This community outreach is in partnership with ACT Foundation and supported by Access Bank.
Here are some photos from the event.
