An integral part of our Breast Cancer Early Detection Programme is the Community health outreach. Through this, we are able to take free Breast Cancer screening to women.
On Wednesday, 24th of October 2018 at the Ikeja Community of Lagos state, we had a free breast screening outreach for women of the community.
The screening exercise was preceded by a market sensitisation drive on Tuesday, 23rd of October 2018.
193 women were screened and over 2000 persons were educated about breast cancer over a 2 day period.
Beneficiaries received Wellness checks, Clinical Breast Examinations and women aged 40 and above were given free Mammogram vouchers.
This community outreach was sponsored by Oak Foundation, Switzerland and supported by Ikeja City Mall.
