Saturday, 4th February 2017 was World Cancer Day.

Oceanic Health partnered with CancerAware to commemorate the day by organising a 5km walk in Lagos to raise awareness on preventable cancer diseases.
The event was tagged "Walk for Cancer Prevention"
It was also to mark the occasion of Oceanic Health's 10th year anniversary.⠀
The walk commenced at about 7.30 a.m from the Muri Okunola Park in Victoria Island, Lagos
On returning to the park after the walk, participants took part in aerobics and fitness sessions.
There was also free breast, cervical and prostate cancer screening vouchers given to all participants as well as blood pressure and sugar checks.⠀
Over 200 participants took part in the event.
