CancerAware Marks World No Tobacco Day
Today, 31st May 2018 is World #NoTobaccoDay
This year's campaign with the theme "Tobacco Breaks Hearts" seeks to highlight the impact tobacco has on the cardiovascular health of people worldwide.
Tobacco smoking is linked to at least 16 different types of cancer including lung cancer.⠀Also, non-smokers who inhale tobacco smoke may increase their risk of lung cancer and heart disease.⠀⠀ If you smoke, commit to quit.⠀⠀ If you are a non-smoker, avoid second hand smoke.⠀⠀
